Purbeck Footprints
Exploring the beautiful Isel of Purbeck and photographing its wildlife and landscapes.

By providing 'real time' reports of my personal observations in the London Borough of Bexley and beyond, the site aims to demonstrate that interesting and unusual wildlife can be found in 'mundane' and unexpected places like back alleyways, by roadsides and railway lines at any time of the year. It agitates for more joined-up thinking on wildlife conservation, especially in urban areas, and seeks to encourage others to record their local wildlife and submit records to the appropriate Regional Biological Records Centre

UK & Eire Natural History Bloggers
A community for British and Irish bloggers who write about natural history and/or nature conservation. Blogs featuring pictures, video or sound recordings of wildlife are welcome too. To join, you just need to: 1. be based in the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland; 2. blog regularly about natural history. Natural history encompasses a wide range of topics, including flora, fauna and fungi, plus geology and meteorology. Examples of natural history blogs include diaries of backyard nature observations and journals about conservation projects. We reserve the right to reject blogs and websites which are deemed inappropriate.
