A Loom With a View, Too I am the head weaver at a little weaving shop in Ponca City, Oklahoma. There are four of us now, myself and my partner, and two apprentices. I weave using a Hispanic Walking Loom and I love it.
What's happening - or not - in my quilt studio on the edge of BC, where nature is an ever-present source of inspiration.
Our small farm has Shetland, Finn, Bluefaced Leicester crosses and Cheviot sheep. They pasture with Argentine Llama guardians. We provide them with grass pasture, clear water, hay and shelter...in return, they gift us with their lovely fiber! The Shepherdess (that's me!) happily turns that fiber into washed fleece, batts, roving, spun yarn, etc.
