Wounded and Healing I'm a 30-something United Methodist clergywoman who is moving forward after a rough experience in the parish. This blog is my outlet for theological reflection, growth, healing, and the occasional venting session.
I’m being educated as one of a group of lay ministers for a small parish of Lutheran churches--and am finding myself continually opened and utterly changed. I've gone from not knowing a woman could be a minister to considecommunity seminary myself. I write sermons, lead worship, knit, spin, quilt, draw and play with our dogs. Also I'm a new adoptive mom and regularly share about adventures with the little one who came to us a complete blessing.
A blog about life, being a mom, being a young, female pastor in the United Church of Christ, and other musings...fairly low-tech, but hopefully still worth it. Oh, and of course, I'm never perfect, but always real!
RevGalBlogPals An open table for women clergy, women church professionals and women in religious life, and their blogging friends, to support one another in pursuing and discerning our vocations.
You must be an active blogger for the previous three months in order to join and to maintain membership.
