Our Crazy Adventures in Autismland A fun blog about our escapades homeschooling our 2 children , one with autism, using charlotte mason approach.
I am mother to two boys whom I homeschool. We are using a Charlotte Mason style of education. I make adjustments based on the fact that my oldest son has autism. In my blog, I talk about our life of schooling. This includes lots of photos as I love taking pictures. I like to 'show' what we do. If I've found a new way of organizing something and it's working, I'll share that. If I've done a fun math project or found a new game to play, you will be informed. I also love to share photos of my garden. Even though it's not yet what I hope to accomplish I love growing things and photographing the flowers. My other passion is birds. We participate each year in the Great Backyard Bird Count and I'm always on the lookout for a new bird to see. I haven't gotten many photos of birds yet, but hope to be able to do that in the future. My blog is just a normal mom doing normal things. We aren't fancy. Our latest family project is getting through Star Trek shows that we rent from Netflix. Can't get any more boring than that I guess. LOL
Thoughts on family, faith, literature-based homeschooling, books, and whatever else I'm pondering.
