IN HIM WE LIVE AND MOVE AND HAVE OUR BEING This blog is written by a Catholic Christian woman striving to walk in the Light and to demonstrate the relevance of faith to today's world.
Art has always been a part of my life. Over the years I have worked to develop my artistic talents using various mediums such as paint, pencil, charcoal, wood, fabric, metal and just about anything I can find to create with. When I became a Christian my art became about God.
I have filled 'him' with the Spirit of God, with skill, ability and knowledge in all kinds of crafts to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze, to cut and set stones, to work in wood, and to engage in all kinds of craftsmanship." ~Exodus 31:3-5
I work differently now...with God in mind and hope that what I do glorifies him. My writings are most often non-art realated; they are more a story of my journey to God through Jesus Christ in my daily life.
I Challenge You...
To gather AT HIS TABLE. It doesn't matter who you are or how good a writer you are, I challenge you to become a part of a community, to encourage others, to learn from others, and to learn from God. Make God a part of your life. Don't just accept Him as your Savior, but rather, make Him your daily supplier. Trust Him and put all your hope in Him. Invite Him into every part of your life. Learn from Him, and share what you learn with others. Gather AT HIS TABLE, and join this community. Together, we can grow in His Word and feast at His table.
