The Old Duffer is a worn-out, sometimes unfriendly old man who loves nature, wildlife, outdoors, video, photography, and sometimes just being a cantankerous old man. My higher education and life accomplishments? Most of those have disappeared in a series of senior moments.
Why a Old Duffer Nature Cinema Blog?
It seems that everyone is blogging. The Internet is full of Nature Blogs, Wildlife or Environmental Travel Blogs. Some of the Blogs are actually very good. Many of the Nature and Wildlife Blogs offer spectacular photos. I personally enjoy some of the macro photography. So why start another Blog?
Is a Old Duffer a better writer? A better photographer? cinematographer? naturalist, biologist, or philosopher? Most certainly not.
The Old Duffer can offer the experience of over 50 years as a student of nature. Let's face it, when it comes to the natural world around us, there are no experts. Just about the time someone makes a big announcement about a natural process, wildlife behavior, or environmental certainty, the natural world throws us another curve ball.
So why create a Old Duffer Nature Blog? Why for the same reason we observe and study nature, because it's there.
