I am a Christian, wife, mother and homemaker aiming to live up to the standards set out in Proverbs 31 and Titus 2. I breastfeed, use cloth nappies and practise elimination communication. I like to cook from scratch and am learning to cook "Nourishing Traditions" style. I aim to be a good steward both in terms of the resources God has given my family (frugality) and in terms of the resources God has given to everyone ("green" living). Above all I aim to glorify God and obey his will. My blog is about these things.
This is the Home site for the Christianity Community. The Third Millenium is the time for Christian unity, as in the times of Jesus, and in keeping with the prayer of Jesus in John 17:11, 21. Unity is echoed throughout the Epistles of St. Paul [Romans 15:5-6, 1 Corinthians 1:10, Galatians 3:27-28, Ephesians 4:1-6, and Philippians 1:27]. Our common bonds are Jesus Christ our Saviour; the Holy Trinity, Prayer, especially the Lord's Prayer; the Bible, especially the New Testament, which is the same for all of Christianity; Baptism; and our respect for life, traditional marriage, and the natural law.
CHRISTIANITY The purpose of our community is Christian unity, as in the times of Jesus. Jesus prays for Christian unity in John 17:11, and unity echoes throughout the Bible, such as the Epistles of St. Paul [Romans 15:5-6, 1 Corinthians 1:10, Galatians 3:27-28, Ephesians 4:1-5, and Philippians 1:27]. We emphasize our common bonds - our love of Jesus Christ, the Son of God the Father, who sends us the Holy Spirit; Baptism; the Bible, especially the New Testament, the same for all of Christianity; and our respect for life and the natural law.
