the bunny years Just your average girl moving through life.
My name is Tracy Reinhardt and I believe that you can make something beautiful out of anything in this world. I am a artist and writer with bipolar disorder. Was I an artist before my diagnosis? I've thought about that a lot. No, I wasn't, but becoming one after I went crazy makes perfect sense. Art's a crazy thing.
My work is shown at the Arts Unbound Gallery, Orange, NJ, VSA of NJ art shows, at the Heldrich Hotel, NJ, and in Prague, Czech Republic at the 2008 XIV World Congress of Psychiatry Art Show. My work is also in private collections, internationally.
Art has been something that has kept me safe since my diagnosis in 1997. Art allows me to work out issues that I have on paper, to explore feelings and to give hard memories a place to live. Not all of my work is pleasant to look at, some deals directly with living as a disabled person and some I do for the pure love and joy of color and shadow against light
