Multicrafty A blog about my mothecommunity as well as my crafting.
Knitting -- Since I was ten. Started with twine and pencils. Graduated to hand carved family heirloom knitting needles and yarn. Have knitting shawls, sweaters and am now starting to knit socka.
Quilting -- Since I was nine. My maternal grandmother tried to teach me hand piecing. I didn't have the patience at the time. Now I love hand piecing as well as machine piecing and applique. Have made several donated baby quilts, several donated children's quilts, many full size quilts. Have a UFO list that is beyond belief.
Dementia -- In January, 2008 my husband was mis-diagnosed with dementia. I started the blog as a way to document what we were going through. In October, 2008 my husband was rushed to the ER with kidney failure, pneumonia, severe infection and was put on a ventilator for four days until the pneumonia cleared. When the infection was gone he spent 3 weeks in re-hab. The infection had fooled several doctors and had been the cause of all the dementia symptoms. It was determined that he never had dementia.
Bucket List -- A list of all the things I want to do before I die and the dates I completed things on the list.
