This sensual yearning for knowledge, this insatiable wanderlust, this long desire is something that I cannot define except to know that it has always been there. Wherever I happen to be at any given time I soon have the urge to be somewhere else and if I am not travelling I am reading about it in one of my books that constitute a large travel section of my library. Through work and leisure my travels have taken me through Asia, Europe, Australia, the Americas and other destinations around the world. I have only recently embarked on documenting some of the places that I have visited, the rest reside in my memory. I hope that where I have been may be some interest to you as much as it was to me and that the world I have seen is only a small part of what lays ahead as I travel through life’s journey. The urge to travel has been accompanied by my love for photography and as I have evolved as a photographer I have applied it to my travels. The examples you see here are the result of that growth. Originally my shyness kept me from photographing people but on my travels through South East Asia I hope to have broken through my past inhibitions.
