Imogen Howson, 2008 winner of the Elizabeth Goudge Award, writes magical romantic fantasy and science fiction for both young adults and adults. Her website offers free reads, short stories, and novellas. In her books you will meet shapeshifters of both the usual and unusual sorts, magicians, mutants, heroines with beautiful names, blood, tears, a little bit of sex, and violence. Imogen works for Samhain Publishing as an administrative assistant. When she's not writing or working she looks after her two daughters and partner, drinks coffee, reads, watches anything by Joss Whedon, campaigns against racist political parties and for the formation of a UK republic, and goes for walks in Sherwood Forest.
