Our blog features multiple posts per week that are uniquely targeted at various subjects related to survival supplies, long term food storage and generally overall disaster and survival planning.
We have all seen the lack of proper government response in recent natural disasters, of course, Katrina being the most glaring example. But there have been other disasters that haven't gotten as much negative publicity, even though, American citizens were faced with the same unimaginable issue of simply putting food on the table.
The fact is that most Americans have less than 30 days of food supply in the cabinets, many have less than that. If there ever is a disaster that impacts the nation as a whole, and where the food supply chain is broken, many Americans will be without the basic necessities of life.
That's why we believe it very beneficial to be prepared and take the necessary steps to manage a crisis, when and if, it ever happens.
