Reflection of the Echo... Sgt. Jerry W. Jeffries Memorial
Memorial Tribute of Sgt. Jerry W. Jeffries. Huge inspirational site in support of our Vets and active-duty US Troops, and in memory of all our loved ones who have passed on. Unique memorial site. Native American legends say the Ancient Ones could time-travel during full phase of the Blue Moon. Often when I'm missing him, I close my eyes and pretend that it's a mystic Blue Moon hour. On soft twinkling of the magic moonbeams, I drift gently o'er the Bridge Across Forever to a sacred place in time ..... The Abode of Yesterday is a joyful land that holds no sorrow for the past or anxiety for the future. It's the place where precious hours we've shared with loved ones dwell today yet as real as when we lived them. All the things we wanted to say and never said are fruitful there, along with all the things we wanted to do and never did..... I invite you to come join my exploration of this twilight land of yon where memories are given tongue by the perpetual flowing of the Sands of Time. Harmonious reflection of their ancient melody is a moonbeam serenade o'er all creation ― come follow the glimmering echo..... İMarilyn Jeffries, Reflection of the Echo 1974-2009

Wanderings is our family website where we feature my 22+ years in the USAF. Among the many divisions are also our family history, politics, hobbies, religion, horses, woodshops, humor and a whole lot more. Come visit us!!! This particular page, and following pages, encapsulate my years of adulthood. Before I continue, let me make one thing clear - I consider myself one of the luckiest men in the world. I consider that military service is a privilege, one that not everyone is afforded. I'm privileged, I served for nearly 22 years in the US Air Force. Thank you, America, for the privilege. You might consider that the order of this page is a bit strange, my statement of life-purpose before my welcome to you. Not so strange. I have put my country before everything else in my life - that's as I think it should be. For starters on this page, and to learn a bit more about my beliefs, I'd like to present to you the American Creed - an American statement of beliefs and purpose. I don't think there can be a higher calling than adherance to the words of this document, which I've included just below. Next, I invite you to take a look at the articles that are linked below, called A Few Excellent Military-related & Patriotic Stories. All are excellent. One was written by my brother, who has no military background at all, the others are of unknown origins. Finally, I invite you to click on the next button and follow my Air Force career, from beginning to end. The tour's worth it, I promise. There's good pic's, good war stories and a good life waiting to be seen.
