knitting the wind We are a homeschooling family using various child-centered methods.
Appreciating life as a mother and learning every day. I am blessed to be mothering a precious little soul born after ivf, and am attachment and continuum parenting. We love breastfeeding, co-sleeping and babywearing. We are unschooling and loving our freedom to learn and explore the world together. I am committed to raising my son in a respectful way and with trust. I have learnt so much so far in my journey to motherhood and since becoming a mother. It is such an honour to nurture and love my son as he grows. My blog is a place where I can record the day to day joyful moments of our life together, celebrate the uniqueness of the precious soul who has chosen me as a mother and express my gratitude for the everyday miracles that we are co-creating. It is also a place where I can share my passions with others and, through being part of a blogging community, I can learn from the experiences and stories of others who are practicing respectful parenting and learn to continue to find ways to facilitate my sons passions.
We are a homeschooling family mixing our natural curiosity for the world with Waldorf methods, unschooling, and other ideas.
Soulful Education This community offers the opportunity to develop a community of like-minded homeschoolers who believe education is not about what a child can do but what they need ... not about proving their capabilities but touching their souls.
