RPG Arena--After Firefly/Serenity This is my role-playing game board. Currently After Firefly/Serenity is looking for new dedicated players. Canon and original characters are available. Come join in on the fun!
Finding Serenity is a play by post roleplaying game based on Firefly. The game takes place before the series; one year after the Unification War.
While the site is a game in one sense, we prefer to think of it as a cooperative literary experience. Games imply rules, and we prefer as few rules as possible. This is done in an effort to allow for more creativity from you, the player.
Cooperative literature means that there is no main character. Each of you must share the stage with everyone else, as we tell a story together. Create a character, then when you write, take the character's thoughts, personality, and actions into consideration. Even if two characters are enemies, the players should be willing to work together to tell a great story.
There are many stories being told on this site. Each one revolves around a ship and the crew that call it home. Several ships have room for new crew, and new ships are added as the need arises. If you are interested in joining, look at the Guidebook forum for more information.

of the Alliance and away from the Reavers.Malcolm Reynolds is in charge as Captain. He is a defeated soldier who opposed the unification of the planets by the Alliance. Captain Reynolds is always Striving to be a good captain, he must keep all his crew members on task and have Serenity flying safely. Zoe (aka The Soldier) is extremely loyal to Reynolds as she served with him in the battle against the Alliance. Zoe owes her life to Malcolm. Zoe has the strength and experience to take command of the ship, if necessary. Her husband, Wash is the pilot of the ship and is unassuming, self-deprecating and calm with a very big sense of humor. The mechanic of the ship is the experienced engineer, Kaylee (a woman ) while the Ambassador isInara a companion and a Mercenary, Jayne that is the tough, ultimately loyal ask long as the money is good, and unpleasant all rolled into one.. Simon is the doctor on Serenity and comes from a wealthy family and has a privileged upbringing. His sister, River (aka The Fugitive) is an experienced psychic who can read minds and they don't come any smarter.
