Dominican Sisters of Blauvelt
A Nun's Life is a blog about being a Catholic nun in today's world. Through my blog I seek to encourage people to consider their vocation in life. I also write about religious life--the beautiful adventure of this calling as well as support for discernment and entecommunity religious life. Finally by writing about the lives of nuns and about religious life, I hope to counter the stereotypes of nuns that are rampant in the media and in society.
Every artistic effort, every media production, is a window to the soul of its creator. As Daughters of St. Paul called to communicate Christ through our lives and the media, we strive to let Christ's light glow through the windows of our souls--our media productions. Welcome to my personal musings into the spirituality of being a nun (or more accurately, a woman religious) and a Catholic media artist immersed in the world of communication.
