A blog about all my creative obsessions. I can never settle on just one craft or art form. So I hand dye and card fiber and spin yarn. I make stuff from my yarn. I make Jewelry from all kinds of materials. I do some assemblage. I make the odd art doll. I make collages. I paint in oil and acrylic. I play with fimo. I also have schizophrenia and I write a bit about what that is like to live with and how it effects my creative process.
In which I live life and try to address the creativity that struggles to emerge amidst the constant everyday requirements of life.

Sit & Spin! Sit & Spin! is a place for edgy spinsters to link up and share their handspun novelty/art yarns. To be accepted into this community, you must be willing to break conventional spinning rules. Yarns must be spun with wild abandon or major attitude. If you've ever looked at safety pins, pompoms, shredded lace or fuzzy little easter chicks and thought "hey! I could spin that into my yarn!" then this is the community for you.
