All That Is Gold Does Not Glitter Hi! I'm Taffy, a mom of 4 (three boys (ages 11 (LogoBoy), 8 (BiologyBoy), 4 (TrackBoy) and one girl aged 7 months (BabyGirl)) and a wife to AlphaFlight, a high school teacher in the rural Canadian prairies. We're a Catholic family with a zest for life and knowledge, a love of books, and an interest in almost everything!
We are a home schooling family of 2 children, one with high functioning autism. We use the Charlotte Mason approach to home schooling and RDI to help remediate our son's autism. Michael works at night while Penny runs her own culinary business from home!
Add two children with autism, a teenager, homeschooling, two cats, a geek husband and the daily grind... you get? Me with an edge (or on the edge?!) The players in this saga? J is my tech support and the Boss (he thinks). JBug is my 14 year old daughter. JBear is my 9 year old son, with High Functioning Autism/Asperger's. JBean is my youngest daughter, at 6. Also just diagnosed with HFA. Then there's me. I'm just T. My life is an open book. (if it wasn't, would I be doing this?) I write like I breathe: currently hyperventilating... is there an editor in the house?
