fabric and fitness fanatic I create textile art...a bit different from the traditional quilt, and even a bit different from an art quilt.
I'm a fiber artist working with nature and enviromental themes and having a wonderful time. I draw inspiration from my surroundings in beautiful Lancaster County, PA. My current work focuses on captucommunity scenes from everyday life and images of natural objects, using plants from my extensive organic garden and from the fcommunityes of cultivation. I employ cyanotypes, heliographic prints, and image transfers as the basis for works that also incorporate unusual fabrics, hand and machine stitching, and beadwork. My work has been juried into numerous national and international exhibits.
I am a Dutch quilter and write for the Dutch magazine about my experiments with the help of the other members of my group StiQS.
