Little Works of Art The aim of this blog is to enable me to share my love of textiles and threads with like minded people and no longer be isolated. I have recently discovered silk painting and the way in which the vibrant colours produced by steam fixed dyes lend themselves to embellishment with threads. I embroider, embellish, free machine embroider and experiment with anything I can get my hands on.
Libélulas na Janela ( Dragonflies on the window) is the place where I share my arts and crafts,my fabric, yarns and papers passion, thoughts, find outs, friend´s works, good readings and a bit from my life. Be welcome! (it´s mainly in portuguese, but I try to write in english too)
