Libélulas na Janela Libélulas na Janela ( Dragonflies on the window) is the place where I share my arts and crafts,my fabric, yarns and papers passion, thoughts, find outs, friend´s works, good readings and a bit from my life. Be welcome! (it´s mainly in portuguese, but I try to write in english too)
My site is in French. I don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t speak English, but I have friends who translate for me! LOL My works in embroidery, modern patchwork, and life in general.
Also I\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'ve just launched a little contest/challenge for shopping bags where you have to imagine making the most original but also the most practical shopping bag (to bcommunity everywhere with you).
The aim of this blog is to enable me to share my love of textiles and threads with like minded people and no longer be isolated. I have recently discovered silk painting and the way in which the vibrant colours produced by steam fixed dyes lend themselves to embellishment with threads. I embroider, embellish, free machine embroider and experiment with anything I can get my hands on.
Take It Further Challenge This community is set up for the individuals participating in the yearly "Take It Further Challenge" developed for needleworkers and mixed media artists around the world.
