Beth's Quilty World Come in for a glimpse into my quilty world!
I'm just a crafty girl who loves to make cute things. I love to make scrappy quilts, just because I love the riot (and sometimes chaos) of color, and it's easier to make something that's original. Anyone can go and buy exact prints used in a pattern--not just anyone can pull out a flamingo fabric and pair it with crazy purple dots and a green paisley!
Outside of quilting, I also knit and crochet, make dolls, sew baby clothes...just a lot of different activities. Outside of *that*, I love baseball, hockey, gardening, my pets, and sometimes even my family. :)
I come from a *huge* family--each of my parents have 7 brothers and sisters each, so there's tons of cousins to keep up with. Thankfully, my mom stopped at 2 kids.
I've been vegetarian/vegan for over 6 years now--not easy in a cattle loving state like Texas! This really doesn't affect my life much, because I don't let it. :) Sometimes I pull out wool to make soakers and longies for friend's babies or special orders, but I don't bother with leather, bone, etc.
