I blog about our journey through life, homeschooling with Waldorf and all the joys and struggles in between.
Currently I am teaching one second grader with a four year old and one year old along for the ride.
We have used Christopherus Curriculum for first grade. But before that we had the Enki Kindy Package. Unfortunately we fluncked out of Enki, lol. I struggle too much with the structure of it and it overwhelmed my perfectionist tendencies. For second grade we are using A Little Garden Flower. I really like it and how it gives me some structure without being dogmatic. I'm interested in checking out Live Ed next. I think I could really use the help in the how to present.
We are just beginning this journey and have so much to learn. I hope that this will help me journal my observations and things we have tried while also sharing with family and friends what it is we are doing and how we are doing it.
I love to post lots of pictures when I get the chance. But that can be hard with little ones and furry ones running around.
I welcome any constructive comments and enjoy getting feedback from those who are supportive to our journey.

Waldorf-Inspired Homeschoolers This community was created in May 2007. We hope that as it grows, it can serve as a tool to connect families who have chosen to homeschool using Waldorf-inspired methods, either exclusively or in conjunction with other educational methods (unschooling, Charlotte Mason, etc.,) so that we may support and inspire each other.
