An herbalist's views on herbs, wellness, and the adventure of learning and living without school. We are a unique family living in the mountains of Northern New Mexico...one of us is a professional drummer and bike mechanic, and the other is an Environmental Consultant and certified Herbalist. We have two beautiful daughters and have embarked upon the journey of unschooling as school just never seemed to be a good fit for our oldest child. Having attended The Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA, this new addition to our unconventional lives is not surprising but it surely has left us with the understanding that we have a lot of reading and learning to do on how to be effective unschoolers. We seemed positioned in the right place, however, with abundant resources, and helpful support already surrounding us. This should be a fantastic and remarkable commitment for our family.
