SAINT MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL A popular saint, Michael the archangel is venerated by catholics worldwide as the Prince of the Heavenly Hosts.
Of humble birth, her faith in God led her on a quest to lead an army, crown a king and in the end, judged a heretic, was burned at the stake. Five hundred years after her death the Roman Catholic Church proclaimed her a saint.
