Bare Bones Gardening Where the Obsessional Gardener meets the Obsessional Asperger's Son
Do I have autism? Nope but my son does. He is 5 years old and living on the spectrum. If you are looking for a warm fuzzy blog about autism, this is not it. I am over being positive about autism. There is nothing positive about it. While I stay optimistic about his future because our intervention, I am realistic about it's impact and over all the talk of ausitm meaning "special". B.S. Autism sucks! Period. My son is special, but not because he has autism. He is special because of who he is without that label; sweet, talented and loveable. Everyone that meets him falls in love with him. This is my journey and my place to write and vent.
I am a Christian mom; my oldest has asperger\\\'s syndrome. As a parent with 2 other kids, there is plenty of disorder.
Autism Bloggers If you are a blogger who blogs about autism, please join so that we may form more connections in the blogosphere! More connections = more resources. You may be autistic, parents of autistic children, a researcher, a special ed teacher, or be related to or a friend of someone who has been diagnosed PDD-NOS, Asperger's, or elsewhere on the autistic spectrum. But You Must be a Blogger and you must blog about autism! Websites or forums about autism are Not Blogs; there is a different CommunitySurf community for websites.
