Bert, Bean, Rockstar & Schmoozer I am a biological and adoptive mother of 4. Two of my kids have Down syndrome, one is my adopted niece, the last is my typical bio kid. We have a great time and a great faith and a great God.
I'm a middle-age woman navigating the tumultuous seas of peri-menopause. I've been married 19 years; have three of my own children plus a step-son and grandchild. I write about my life as I shrink in height and grow in Christ. I rarely mention my addiction to chocolate; I'm above playing the sympathy card.
I am a Christian; I am also a wife and Mother, who as a former "daytime well visitor" has encountered the true lover of her soul. I have drunk from the well of salvation and have been revived and renewed. So now I am able to come boldly to the thrown of grace as a true daughter of the King.
Faith Lifts There are many great bible study themed blogs out there, and it is not our desire to replace or over shadow any of them- We firmly believe that Christ is working mightly in the blogging world, and is using all of us! Faith Lifts, however, does want to be a bit different than the rest. Every day we all face struggles, disappointment and hardships. We sometimes feel as if we are traveling this journey alone, but that is where we at Faith Lifts want to help. We want to share His love and grace with you on the days when you need it the most. We also want to be able to just sit back and giggle like old friends from time to time!
