mathea I am a crafter who dabbles in all kinds of things, but my main passion is quilting. I often start with traditional patterns, but give them my own twist, or I have lots of fun making up things as I go along.
just one more place to muse the minutiae of life
I have no ‘formal’ art training, but I come by my love of all things fiber and paper naturally. My Mom taught me to make handmade paper as a kid, and I watched all of her weaving projects, rugs, sewing, and everything else she dabbled in with wide-eyed enthusiasm. Any mom who willingly encourages you to melt crayons is a good one in my book.
