LibAPRS Project The goal of this project is to provide a standard C++ interface for creating and manipulating APRS(tm) objects.

Open Source Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) Systems{;}{;}Our goal is to design & develop{;}Open Source software, hardware & combinations useful for cost-effective AVL & some Mobile Data facilities{;}{;}At present, our target systems include Linux, OpenBSD & Windows, but{;}users can freely extend this list.{;}{;}We have a working Linux/C-based{;}system (from Austria) on which to{;}base one of our systems.{;}{;}Also in the works is a sibbling{;}program in Visual Basic for Win{;}{;}We are looking for saavy developers{;}& (in time) testers, not to mention{;}any feedback on what features{;}might be good to add to either{;}target system.{;}{;}Welcome... APRS Community In Amateur Radio, APRS has many uses and is many different things to different people. APRS can be used for tracking moving vehicles, tracking yourself as you drive around, fox hunts, keeping track of weather conditions and watching propagation.
