Access-Tec provides braille transcription, text to CDROM, mail conversion/forwarding, and business consultation. We also have a service for blind living alone to receive and make information mailed to them available through braille, large print, e-mail, or voice.
The site is dedicated to the LaBraDoR{;}free software project.{;}LaBraDoR is an optical character recognition (OCR) software for braille documents. The braille{;}documents are digitized using a standard scanner. The analysis of the images allows the user to extract the{;}braille text and translate it into an ASCII text, usable from any text editor.{;}
