They may then share their newfound ideas with others in the group.{;}The Jewish Philanthropy discussion group also presents information about and suggestions for fundraising activities. It serves as a forum for networking Jewish philanthropic activities, issues, sources and resources.
There's an old story about a Jewish fellow who is lost, all alone, on a desert island. Passing sailors find him and ask about the two synagogues (shuls) which he constructed. "This one," he says, "is my shul. I pray here every day". "And the other building?" "Oh, that shul?. I wouldn't step foot into it." This group is about The Other Shul.
