Works are indexed alphabetically by Author or Title, and chronologically by Author (or work, if anonymous). There are also separate indexes for works included in various reading lists, and works which are available in languages other than English. Browse around!
One of the funniest new books for a long time. The book is now being made into an animated feature film and features great music together with groundbreaking Flash based animation. The web site is worth a visit as it has the animated music video, a cool strip club you can visit and wild music samples.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Scarlett May Blossom has more relatives from Tennessee than Alabama.
When her grandmother traced the family tree, Scarlett learned that she
is distantly related to Tennessee’s hero, Davy Crockett, who is her
cousin many times removed. She was challenged getting through high
school, a task she gave up for awhile when she quit school, but she
eventually earned her high school equivalency certificate and years
later a college degree. While in her twenties, Scarlett married for
awhile. Before and after the divorce there were “lotsa boyfriends,” and
she swears she dated a famous Hollywood actor whom she insists shall
remain nameless.
Scarlett’s mother really is a member of a hellfire and damnation
Christian denomination that believes in casting out demons. When
Scarlett’s demons never got successfully cast out, in spite of many
attempts at church to do so, she grew disenchanted with orthodox
Christianity and explored a variety of religious faiths before giving
up on it all entirely (although she still believes in the Good Lord,
bless her soul). Today Scarlett lives nowhere near Alabama or
Tennessee, preferring the rural Southwest. And she no longer lives in a
trailer.
Imagine yourself stranded on a desert island with nothing to do but read books in the shade of swaying palm trees.... Which ones would you want on your bookshelf? These are some of our favorites!
