Some weyrs take themselves seriously, other weyrs less seriously. Here at Lenagra we're still trying to work out how to spell "serious." Seriously, it's suprisingly tricky. {;}{;}8 years into the pass, on a very alternative Eleventh pass schedule, thread is still dropping. {;}{;}This is a weyr where a man in a red fruit suit wouldn't get noticed. Every personality on the scale is lurking around here somewhere. Not mentioning that strange dementia that infects all weyrling teenagers driving them to new depths of angst, senior riders with an attitude problem, junior riders with an attitude problem, and more cliques than an American high school movie. {;}{;}Welcome to a Weyr where no-one is ever as cliched as they seem. We aren't a feat of organisational workmanship like Triad, or as imposing as Far Jordan. We aren't aiming to be a big Weyr where no one can go anywhere, becuase there's no space to breath; or hopefully the sort of Weyr where you've just unpacked your bags and it's already curled up and died. We want to be the sort of place where internal politics aren't an issue, simply because everyone behaves; and acts juvenile in an adult way. If you want to join a weyr with active participation and a surrealist sense of fun, or just have a thing for men in red fruit suits, join us. Or a self help group.
