Welcome to The Bothered Owl.
The Bothered Owl are Alex and Sarah, two craft obsessed Australians living in South London. They have known each other for about five years, bonding over knitting, cups of tea and museums.
Alex makes fabulous jewellery from recycled Lego, as well as beads and wires. She can make you pretty much anything out of Lego, including some amazing cufflinks! She also knits and sews and is mad about museums - her day job.
Sarah is a dab hand with a needle and thread or sticks and string. She makes hats, bibs, bags and fabric jewellery. She is valiantly resisting Alex's attempts to teach her to bead as she doesn't need yet another craft habit.
They blog about what they make and their ongoing attempts to sell some of it and Sarah writes the odd occasional tutorial. She likes the idea of helping other people to learn to enjoy crafting as much as she does.
Alex and Sarah hope you will enjoy their blog - and their shop- as much as they do. It's hard work but it's a lot of fun.
