Child of the Wind A journey explocommunity faith, hope and love.
The Levellers were a religiously-inspired movement for radical democracy, social justice (especially for the poor), religious liberty and human rights. The most eloquent of their leaders was the General Baptist, Richard Overton, a Mennonite-influenced pacifist who first coined the term “human rights” in 1640. In the spirit of Overton, this blog is a contemporary series of Leveller manifestos for 21st C. U.S. life.
An occasional bulletin of my search for truth, justice, and "I'm still withholding judgment on the American way." I consider myself a traditional baptist, and just in case you haven't figured it out, I am totally opposed to the conservative insurgency.
Baptist Bloggers A List of Baptist Bloggers. All Baptists who have a weblog and add the Baptist Bloggers link to their weblog can be added to the list. No theological screening applies.
