RING DESCRIPTION: Poetry Cafe is a webring for painters, poets, writers, sculptors, and other visionaries that create in the reflection of poetry and prose. Echoed in the beautiful words of the visual poet, Picasso, "A painting is a lie that tells the truth" is the Poetry Cafe's basic motto. We strive to seek the truth in our poetic expressions. We celebrate that passionate struggle by connecting and sharing our creations and exeriences with eachother.

In the Moment
I am interested in storytelling, poetry that opens the mind or heart, political theory, fine arts, the environment, movies, animal rights, stories where courage conquers all or people find ways to live with the unimaginable, and the divine bliss that can be found in this world. My work may appeal to women but I think many of poems and stories will cross the gender line.The themes are relationships, personal history with family, gender roles, the search for inner happiness and universal compassion.This blog contains links and audios to my published poetry, creative non-fiction, fiction, interviews(I am the Interview Editor for www.eclectica.org). There are also musings posted and my art work. I post the work of other writers, poets, artists etc whose work knocks my organic socks off.
