Macclesfield Branch of Embroiderers Guild This is the latest and second blog belonging to the Macclesfield Branch of the Embroiderers Guild. Any posts before the end of June 2007 can be found on Silk Town Stitchers . The origin of our blog name comes from the link to the town of Macclesfield and its heritage as a silk town in previous centuries. For this reason the group has strong links with the Silk Museum in the town.
