Welcome to Brett's WorldBrett was born w/HLHS 2/18/2000. He has had the Norwood, Bi-directional Glenn & Fenestrated Fontan done at Kosairs Children's Hosp.in Louisville,Kentucky. He also had 2 angioplasties & a collateral coiled. He suffered a stroke ducommunity the Fontan(May 2002) due to an air embolism to the brain. He is now in rehab therapy & is making a remarkable recovery & back to his rotten self! This site contains easy to understand illustrations of the HLHS heart & surgeries & many links for more info.
