The Enemy Shall Not Outwit HimI'm the "him" and the "enemy" might be anyone from Cruise to Cheney. Or is it the other way 'round? Religion, THE PALESTINIAN RESISTANCE, politics, LESBIAN/GAY RIGHTS, the arts---are the sorts of things about which I will not be outwitted. Feel free to post a comment (but if I can't contact you, I'll delete your comment). Humor in service of ideas is welcome. Obscenity is not. “The enemy shall not outwit him, the wicked shall not humble him." Psalm 89:22.

Blue Heart of DixieIn the blue heart of the Deep South lies Atlanta, a dot of mostly progressive thought in an ocean of red voters. I am an out, gay Episcopalian Democrat trying to live his life with as much integrity as possible. My hope is to comment on some of these local, state and national political stories, as well as happenings in the Episcopal Church of the United States and see what happens.

Gay and Lesbian Study Bible The New Testament in the original Greek does not speak against Gay, Lesbian, Bi or Transgender people. There is in fact no textual basis in the Bible for the exclusion of same sex relations. People who quote Bible passages which appear to be against gay people are quoting English mistranslations of the original languages- the Bible was not written in English.
