RING DESCRIPTION: There are many great bible study themed blogs out there, and it is not our desire to replace or over shadow any of them- We firmly believe that Christ is working mightly in the blogging world, and is using all of us! Faith Lifts, however, does want to be a bit different than the rest. Every day we all face struggles, disappointment and hardships. We sometimes feel as if we are traveling this journey alone, but that is where we at Faith Lifts want to help. We want to share His love and grace with you on the days when you need it the most. We also want to be able to just sit back and giggle like old friends from time to time!

I thank the good Lord above for birthing me in a Nation that is known for freedom. May we continue to remember what our previous generations fought and died for. May we be thankful for the current generations and the sacrifices they too are making. God bless our military!

Changing my world One attitude at a time
I Will Learn to FlyI started this blog when my husband lost his job on 6/6/06.... I felt that the Lord wanted me to document all that He was about to do. I don't think I ever would've had the guts to even start it if I had known how long I would do it... my husband has now been unemployed for 13 months. But, God has been faithful every step of the way.

"First thing in the morning, she dresses for work, rolls up her sleeves, eager to get started. She senses the worth of her work,is in no hurry to call it quits for the day...When she speaks she has something worthwhile to say, and she always says it kindly...The woman to be admired and praised is the woman who lives in the Fear-of-God." [from Proverbs 31, The Message}

In His FootstepsI'm an American woman living in Taipei, Taiwan with my husband. I'm a Christian with a passion for missions in Taiwan, although I'm an English teacher by profession (blasted student loans). This blog is all about teaching English in Taiwan, studying Chinese, being a Christian woman, making a life for yourself in Taiwan, good books, coffeehouse epiphanies, and whatever else I feel like writing about. I love to write, and maybe someone somewhere will find my musings interesting (maybe even helpful). Enjoy!
I come boldlyI am a Christian; I am also a wife and Mother, who as a former "daytime well visitor" has encountered the true lover of her soul. I have drunk from the well of salvation and have been revived and renewed. So now I am able to come boldly to the thrown of grace as a true daughter of the King.
Sunflower FaithSunflower Faith is about a SAHM's personal walk with God, a journey that involves musings about life, family, faith, with coffee occasional thrown in while looking up always to God and understanding the life around us.

I'm Not Who I WasI'm not perfect.
Far from it.
I’m just trying to walk in the footsteps of one who is, one who paved the way.
Day by day,
I’m becoming a little less of who I used to be,
And a little more of who He wants me to become.
At least that’s my hope. Come walk with me.
Going To Hell In A Handbasket And Loving It!Minister and Christian Author, Kenneth Morvant discusses his new book, "Going To Hell In A Handbasket And Loving It!" Why it may now be too late to turn back to God and why we don't care. The book looks at the faith destroying influences that exist today and reveals their error in light of truth. Then we look at how we can return to God and Christ with full faith and belief.
Serenity How?Taking time to breathe in my crazy, mixed up, often funny, never boring world. I am a Christian and a married stay home mom of two. I enjoy finding humor in family and faith. I also enjoy finding missing socks.
Living In CanaanA Lutheran, Christian, stay-at-home, music loving, pug snuggling, homeschooling mommy, Air Force Wife and Bookworm who ponders the road less traveled (or the kitchen less cooked in!) in between scrubbing floors and kissing boo boos
Random ReflectionsI am just finishing up Psalm 139. I take a verse a day, sometimes two if the Lord so leads me. I comment on the verse and then have prayer.
