D-Day June 6th 1944 The Canadian Beach Juno
June 6 1944 the 3rd Canadian Division landed on Juno beach. It was time to payback the Germans for the slaughter at the Dieppe raid two years earlier. At the end of D-day the Canadian forces proved that they could fight along side the Americans and British and teach the Wehrmacht a lesson. {;}This website will cover; the plans and objectives, the German Defenses, the naval/air bombardment of the beach, troop movements on D-day and the final positions of the Canadian army on D-Day. The actions and bravery of the Canadian troops on Juno beach should instill pride in all Canadians. {;}{;}

The Children of Fort Langley
Between 1827 and 1874, approximately 108 men worked for the Hudson's Bay Company at Fort Langley on the Fraser River in British Columbia. The Children of Fort Langley are the descendants of some of those men and their wives, and our web site is devoted to tracing the descendants of all the fort's employees.
