Woman Being - Masked Woman
My past has not changed, but my perception of it has changed. I'm starring at the mirror and seeing a reflection of a masquerade ball. My mother, my absentee father, my step dad and all the other people I grew up with are present, in costume wearing masks. One by one I take off their costume and peel off their masks. I\'m uneasy about what I see, but I\'m compelled to go on. This is me. This is where I came from. This is my journey, without the masks.
