i'm just in it for the clothes and the food - (joined the Ghost Battallion)
I'm a born-and-raised Yankee, never lived (permanently) south of Worcester, Massachusetts. I'm 36, recently married for the first time, and have missed nine months of the first year of my marriage thanks to Uncle Sam... except I'm the one who had to leave. I've been an officer in the US Army Transportation Corps for 14 years, and am soon to be deployed to Kuwait and possibly Iraq. I'm a fiber artist, too... if it has anything to do with string, I'm in. And I'm in the SCA, where I work on getting inside the head of an 11th century Norse housewife. I have one husband, two cats, no kids, and yarn. Lots of yarn.

I\'m married, have three \"only\" children, and a teenage granddaughter. I\'m currently totally retired, living on a disability pension from the VA and my military retirement. I spend my days surfing the net, reading, writing science fiction/mystery novels, and playing with my animals. NOTE: I\'m currently in the middle of switching ISPs, and haven\'t gotten my personal site back up yet. Until I can save the image on my own site, I\'ll have to link to Mudville Gazette. I\'d like permission before I do that.
