Bliss of the Unknown
My son is now on the other end of the earth. He is embarking to an "unknown" world that I only get a glimpse through media and the World Wide Web. He is an American Warrior. He is a Defender and I am sure at times he will have to take an Offensive stand when called upon to do so. Life is full circle. I grew up as an Army Brat and have been all over the world. I have walked and lived on the land where our World War II Warriors walked in the 1940's. I have slept in the hotel where Hitler and his S.S. slept. I have ridden a train through East Berlin and slept in West Berlin before the WALL came down. I have crossed many oceans and witnessed through my own Step-Father and Mother as they provided a home for us and kept traditions alive wherever we lived on this planet. The life of the Army Brat is not easy. The life of a worried Mother of a Warrior is not easy. I now can honestly say, this Military Brat that writes these words for days and months to come has experienced more than the "Average" American Citizen. This is our story.
