Of the Blog: Twentysomething graduate student of the sciences discusses theology from a neoclassical/postmodernist perspective, Episcopal polity from an often horrified perspective, and describes trying to follow Christ and deal with the rest of the world from a sometimes frustrated perspective. All the while, he strives to live out Benedictine values of hospitality, divine service, community, and balance (and usually fails miserably especially with regard to balance). Of the Monastery (fictional): Located on the edge of the Imperial Corridor on Tupile (capital of a sprawling intergalactic empire), it was founded by English-speaking Benedictines from "Tres Flumines in Micica" (or so the Archives say). The Prior is Aulus Lactinus. The Abbot wants to be Patriarch of All Space (and has a good shot at it).
