Ancestral Information ServiceWhen we attempted to fill in the family tree in our wedding book, we realized how little we knew about our family. So began our research and an interest in genealogy. Over the years we have collected a lot of information. We especially found that obituaries and tombstone inscriptions were good sources. Therefore our collection of obituaries and cemetery recordings began. We felt this information could be of use to other researchers. In May of 1993 Ancestral Information Service was born.
The Children of Fort LangleyBetween 1827 and 1874, approximately 108 men worked for the Hudson's Bay Company at Fort Langley on the Fraser River in British Columbia. The Children of Fort Langley are the descendants of some of those men and their wives, and our web site is devoted to tracing the descendants of all the fort's employees. Could you be a Child of Fort Langley? Come take a look and find out.
