A breathtaking blend of the stamina, spirit, and fire of the Arabian, and the durability, dispostion, and color of the Appaloosa, the Araloosa is thought by many to be a re-blending of blood and legend that was intertwined in olden times. The Araloosa horse is suitable for many disciplines--from the modern halter showring to the endurance trails to the dressage ring to western ranch work, Araloosas excell, and their scintillating spotted coat patterns ensure they stand out from the crowd.

Sunset Stock Horses {;} At Sunset Stock Horses (SSH) we take pride in breeding and raising athletic, colored stock horses that can work at the ranch or be competitive in the arena. Our senior stallion is a foundation designated Canadian National Champion Appaloosa cow horse. Our junior stallion is a beautiful black colt with a white blanket and lots of type and athletic promise. Our mares run the range from Arab to Tennessee Walker to Quarter Horse back to Appaloosa! All our mares are selected for their talent and that comes in many different breeds. We stand our stallion to selected outside mares and we occasionally have horses for sale.
