Lord of the Crystals
Stories tell of four crystals of immense power hidden acrossed the world of Aesther. It is rumored that the invisible power from which all mages draw their magic comes from these crystals, thus to possess one would be to possess a portion of magic itself. Two thousand years ago (4687 SC), an archmage named Trantos from the human race thought to possess as many of these crystals as he could. He was able to obtain three of the four, but was finally defeated when a group of heroes known as the Halpzard Party defeated him...the crystals, Trantos, and the Halpzard party have not been heard from or about for the last 1900 years. It is now the year 6687 SC, and strange things have been happening across Aesther. Orcs, goblins, trolls, and other vile things are forming dark pacts. Magic is beginning to do some odd things when used in some parts of the world. Kingdoms war with each other as never before. A ring of tensions lies in the air...
