Find the Perfect Healthy Eating Plan: Make healthy eating a priority in your life!

If you are ready to change your lifestyle and want to change your eating habits, then you are at the right place.  Healthy eating is a goal that most people want to achieve, however, it can be a bit confusing.  After all, there are so many healthy eating books, diet plans, and healthy eating experts out there that often contradict each other or ask way too much of you.  However, we have a simple Healthy Eating Plan that if you follow for a period of time will help you change your eating habits into a healthy one.  We aren’t promising anything crazy like losing 50 pounds in a week, but if you follow this consistent plan, you will find that your body and mind will eventually feel as great as they should.

Before you start using our Healthy Eating Plan, it is important to remember that this is a basic plan and that it can be adjusted to suit your goals.  For people recovering from serious medical problems or have special dietary requirements, it is important that you consult with your doctor to see whether this diet is appropriate for your health.  Additionally, for people who are interested in healthy eating as a way of losing weight, it is important for you to pay extra attention to your caloric intake.

One of the biggest things that people neglect from their diet are fruits and vegetables.  Fruits and vegetables should be eaten at least 5 times a day, and should not just be the same type of fruit or vegetable.  After all, each fruit and vegetable consists of different nutrients and impacts your body’s health in different ways . It is recommended that you also incorporate beans in your diet, and this can be included within the Fruits and Vegetables part of your Healthy Eating Plain.

Another important part of your diet that people sometimes neglect are grains.  Foods such as bread, pasta, noodles, rice, oats, potatoes, and breakfast cereal should be eaten at least 5 times a day and should be included in each meal.  Additionally, it is important that you obtain your protein through regular consumption of meat and fish.  It is recommended that you eat meat, fish, or an alternative protein source at least two to three times a day.  If you are using this Healthy Eating Plan for weight loss, you should still incorporate these protein sources but make sure these foods are low fat.  Foods incorporated in this group include eggs, poultry, meat, fish, nuts, tofu, textured vegetable protein, and kidney beans.

Your healthy eating plan should also incorporate 2 to 3 servings of milk and dairy foods a day.  It is important to note that this should not include items like butter, eggs, and cream.  However, it is recommended that you regularly eat such dairy products as milk, cheese, and yogurt.  Finally, it is important that you restrict your intake of fatty foods and food containing a large quantity of sugar.  It is recommended that you eat these foods between 0 to 3 times a day.  Foods that are known to be high in fat and/or sugar include: biscuits, butter, cakes, chocolate, cream, crisps, ice cream, fried foods, jam, margarine, mayonnaise, oil, pastries, soft drinks, and sweets.  However, it is important to note that there are some fats that are important to have in your diet.  Food containing unsaturated fats like olive oil, sunflower oil, and corn oil, should still be a part of your Healthy Eating Plan.
