Salma Hayek

Salma Hayek, a famous celebrity who looks lovely live and in the pictures, has been all over the news lately for a number of different reasons.

Reason #1

According to the New York Post, she’s been romantically linked to Quincy Jones, and has shown up at public events with him, looking quite friendly.  Quincy Jones is producing a benefit that Salma Hayek is launching in the spring.  She has also gone to a benefit to support his causes.  Salma Hayek’s reps insist that the pair is just friends.

Reason #2

Salma Hayek has signed with cosmetics mogul, Avon, for their new campaign and is now the new face of the company.  Salma’s pictures show her relaxed and happy-looking with her natural beauty accentuated by Avon’s products.  She is a part of their new print-media, television and online campaign that aims to advertise Avon’s color and fragrance products.

Additionally, Salma Hayek, will also be a spokesperson for Avon’s Anti-Domestic Violence campaign.

Salma Hayek has recently missed an opening of a new theatre in her hometown, due to arriving late.  She said she was late because of delays during shooting of a film that she’s making somewhere else in Mexico.

The Hollywood celebrity, born in Coatzacoalcos in the Gulf Coast state of Veracruz was planning to show up at the inauguration of a new municipal thatre and stay for the concert of an Italian opera singer, Luciano Pavarotti.  She arrived late for the concert and stirred some controversy in the local media.
